The short version: Dropwise does not ask for your name or email, does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not track you.

Your answers and likes

Your quiz answers and swipe likes are worked out in your browser and saved in its local storage on your device, with the cards you skipped and your Women/Men choice on the celeb page, so they are still there when you come back. They are never sent to Dropwise or anyone else. This storage only keeps the picks you asked to keep, so UK law does not need you to agree to it first. To delete it, use "Clear saved likes and answers" under your likes on the Swipe page, or clear this site's data in your browser. A copied routine link also carries your answers in its web address.

What our web host sees

Dropwise runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic details of each request to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

Fonts

The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

When you click a shop link

You leave Dropwise. The affiliate network and the shop set their own cookies to record that Dropwise sent you, under their own privacy policies.

If you email us

We use your email address only to reply to you, and we keep emails only as long as we need them to answer you.

Who is responsible

Dropwise is run by a sole trader in the UK. You can reach us at hello@dropwise.uk.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
